The 12-ft Hackney body is mounted on a Ford F550 four-wheel drive with a 19,500 lb. GVWR. The four-door cab features power windows and door locks and remote controlled, telescopic mirrors. Full cab length running boards with LED step lights provide mud deflection and assistance entering and exiting the cab. A battery conditioner and auto-eject shorepower insure the chassis batteries are always ready to respond.
The body features 7-compartments with roll-up doors. All adjustable shelf tracks are recessed into the side walls to maximize shelf storage capacity. An assortment of slide-out trays and adjustable shelves are provided to facilitate convenient equipment storage. The low maintenance, load-managed multiplexed electrical system provides power distribution to all warning lights and compartment lights. The tail lights and clearance lights are LED. A Whelen 12vdc 8” x 10” halogen scene light is provided on each side of the upper body panel. Rear scene lights can be activated from the console or automatically when the vehicle is in the reverse mode. The interior compartment lights are vertical LED strip type providing full compartment illumination from top to bottom. All warning lights are Whelen LED high-intensity type for long-term durability and maximum warning output meeting NFPA1901 requirements. A Federal electronic siren and speaker round out the warning system.
Two (2) telescoping 12vdc flood lights are mounted on the front of the body, one left and one right providing scene illumination as the vehicle approaches.
